this wonderful man of mine surprised me with the ONE thing that i wanted to do while we were here yesterday...
GOING TO A CARDINALS GAME!
he knows me wayyy too well!
i LOVE baseball...
i LOVE to WATCH baseball...
i LOVE to PLAY baseball..
but most of all...
i LOVE going to professional baseball GAMES!
it was super hot and humid yesterday, but i was not going to let that ruin our baseball experience!
Busch Stadium is one of the coolest stadiums i've been to!
(that being said... #1 is and always will be Fenway Park!)
but they say that there isn't a bad seat in the house!
we got to the game 2 hours early and got to watch batting practice and walk and just being together! needless to say just us being together is a blast! sundays are one of the few days we get to spend with bobby!
behind home plate there is an AMAZING view of all of downtown plus the arch...
it's beautiful!
the first couple of hours we were there it was mainly us just trying to find spots to sit in the shade... it was so hot, and i was terrified that my little guy was going to get sunburnt! bobby wants him to get a tan(okayyy??) he isn't the one that would have to deal with the burn during the day! =] luckily boston just got a tan! thank you bobby for being 1/4 puerto rican!
Boston had a blast at the game... he made some new friends, and got LOTS of attention!
he actually had soooo much fun that he fell asleep RIGHT on my lap! he usually won't fall asleep unless he's on a bed or in his crib... so this was pretty lucky!
we picked a GREAT and very fun game to go to! the only empty seats that i could see were the ones in the nose bleed sections! i love places like this where people are so dedicated to there teams! i only saw ONE Angels jersey and everyone else was decked out in Cardinals EVERYTHING! it was very fun to see! the game definitely started out a little rough, but ended up tied in the bottom of the 9th 5-5!
going into extra innings they pulled it off in the 10th winning 6-5!
GO CARDINALS!
