As much as I loved our little vacation... I'm SO happy to be home!
Our plans kept getting pushed forward. We planned on leaving Saturday, then decided Friday... and ended up heading out Thursday night! It was really last second but we decided that we'd leave that night and stay with my stepbrother and his wife in American Falls so we could be 2 hours closer in the morning!
We headed out the next morning and made it to Sacramento that night. We wanted to spend a couple of nights with Bobby's grandma and so that's what we did!
Boston and Bobby reading the paper at Grandmas!
Boston gets sick every time we go to California... It's kind of one of those "unexplained" mysteries! I always try to blame it on teething, but the only teeth he doesn't have is his 2 year old molars. (Which he is getting by the way!) As we were having dinner on Saturday night Boston wouldn't eat, he had a fever, he was SO tired, and he had NO personality! He was just like a zombie. So I gave him tylenol and put him to bed then ran to Walmart to grab a thermometer just to make sure he wasn't too warm... He ended up having a temperature of 101. I thought I'd let the tylenol kick in and see what he was in an hour. Before Bobby and I went to bed he was down to 100. Which I felt a little better about. I woke up at 4 thinking I needed to check on him AGAIN... (I can get paranoid!) His temperature had spiked to 102.6! I showed Bobby and we both decided that he needed to rest and that this was hopefully just his fever breaking. Luckily... It was! When we woke up his fever had gone down and it continued to go down for the next couple hours until he was normal again. He still wasn't acting himself, but we needed to travel to Carmel for Brett's Court of Honor.
As soon as we got to Carmel, Bobby wanted to get in the pool with Boston. I was pretty reluctant, but gave in. Saying he couldn't put his head under water. Boston just wanted to lay on the boogy board and SLEEP! And I don't blame him... I'm sure he was exhausted!
It didn't take long for Boston to get back to himself... And once he did, he started teething! Awesome! We are pretty lucky though, Boston is a good teether so he was still himself most of the trip.
And this is how he usually is! He cracks me up. Every time music of any sort comes on he breaks out in some pretty wicked dance moves!
Bobby's birthday was also while we were in California. Which his birthday was spent him being SICK! He threw up probably 15 times just that one day. I feel like he always gets sick around his birthday but this time I think he did it on purpose! He had a hard time turning 25... I'm just waiting for his "Quarter Life Crisis" to kick in! :\
We watched the Boise State!! GOOOO BSU!
We even got to go to the Wild Things Zoo! All of those pictures are on my camera so you'll have to wait just for those!
Now that we are home we have to prepare for Boston's Birthday Party, school starting next week, my appointment on Monday, Halloween, Boise State games, potty training(more), finishing our bedroom furniture, gymnastics, and Baby Girl making her appearance in November!
