I can't wait...

It's almost like the future can't come soon enough.
Everyday I find myself saying at least one of these:
"I can't wait till Bobby graduates."
"I can't wait till we are living in the grown up world."
"I can't wait till November."
"Scratch that, I can't wait till October."
"I can't wait till this semester is over."
"I can't wait to move out of Idaho."
"I can't wait..."

Blahhhh.

This has made me realize that I CAN wait. I feel like I rushed Boston into growing up. It was always, I can't wait till he can sit up. Then crawl. Then walk. Then talk. Then feed himself. And so on. I wish that I would have just sat back cuddled with him and soaked in the few months of him when he was a newborn.

Now I feel like I'm doing that with our life!
Who does that?

I really am excited for all of those things to happen... I'm excited to start looking at houses to buy. And deciding on graduate schools. And planning big vacations. And I AM excited for Bobby to graduate so that we can go out into the big grown up world and live our lives with just our family. I'm excited to move somewhere different and make new friends and all of that fun stuff!

That's it. I'm EXCITED!

But I CAN wait.

I can wait, because I'm excited to be able to look back on this time in our lives. When we can say, "Oh. Do you remember that one time when..." Fill in the blank. :) And we'll laugh. Even if right now it seems so stressful. We already do that now. The summer after we got married was FILLED with "I can't waits..." But I could. And I did.

Time flies when you are with the people you care about. So I've decided that this next year is going to be FUN! I'm not going to always say that I can't wait about certain things. I'll even try hard not to think that I need to have my life planned out NOW! I'm just going to spend this year with my sweet growing family and enjoy the NOW.
