They have cameras in the play room so I can see the kiddos at all times! Otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to leave them in there. The people that work in there are sooo personal! Everyday they act all excited to see Boston and it makes it that much easier for him. The first couple of days he was just getting over being sick and wanting to be held all the time. But after the first 3 times of crying a little bit, he just runs in no problems now! The other day when I picked him up, Mr. Popular, had 5 kids that just HAD to give him a hug before he left. Everyday he just gets more and more fun.
Saturday I realized just how big he is getting. We went to REI looking for a stroller, we were walking around when Boston saw a little backpack! All we heard about for the next 5 minutes was how he needed to look at the backpack. After going over, looking at it, putting it on, blowing in the whistle, and begging us to buy him this dang backpack, I couldn't help but wonder where my baby boy went!? How in the world did he know what a backpack WAS? Dora? haha. We told him that he had to help us out around the house, picking up his toys and what not. Then we could come get the backpack! He's done great so far and I'm almost dreading having to drive across town to get him his backpack.
A week ago we took him to the Bellagio to see the fountains go off. We figured he'd LOVE it! Well... We apparently brought the Idaho wind with us and it was too windy to do the fountains that day so they got canceled. Luckily they have an amazing Chinese Dragon display right now that Boston loved also!
Fast forward to this weekend, AFTER our REI experience, we tried again! This time it was a success. Boston loved the fountains and Beckett loved not being in her carseat all the time. Speaking of Beckett... My agreement in deciding her name was that I did NOT want her to be called "Becky" I guess Boston didn't get the memo! His new name for her right now is "BeckyyyOOOO!" In fact, When we put him down for a nap or bed, and he hears her crying, he runs and lays by the door yelling, "BeckkyyOOO, BeckkkyyyOO, It's okay, BeckkyyOO!" At least he puts the "O" on the end! haha
He is just always cracking us up! Yesterday, he didn't stop talking from the time we put him in the car, till the time we got home an hour later! Who knows who he was talking to?? Because it wasn't to us! He's such a silly boy! I'm excited to see what the next couple of months bring for him before we move back to Idaho.
Someday soon I'll get my camera from California so I can take better pictures! :)
