boston and beckett... they do love each other!

boston and beckett are best friends. i promise! they both love each other like crazy! buttttt... sometimes boston gets a little rough with his baby sister... i don't think he intentionally "hurts" her though. you'd think that with all of the rough housing she gets with her big brother she'd be tough. she's not. you'd think that she would be growing up to be a huge tomboy. she's not. you'd think she'd be used to being sat on/having things thrown at her/being forced to roll over. she's not. if she even thinks she is about to be hurt by boston she freaks!! i always thought that i'd have a sort of tomboy little girl since i grew up playing sports and i was a huge tomboy! well, we managed to have this little princess! and i kinda love it... i love how girly she already is!

where am i going with this?

today has been "one of those days." as i was getting ready for the gym this morning, i had beckett rolling around on the floor and boston roaming around telling me to hurry. all of a sudden that sweet princess that we have started freaking out! i ran out to the living room to see her face down and boston about 3 feet away with one of my hair clips. i can only imagine what happened! boston didn't want to tell me as hard as i tried to get it out of him... by this time i was ready for the gym and so i packed them both up and got in the car. frustrated! but happy to get out and go to the gym.

after i lifted i went to check and see how they were doing. beckett was just fine, but boston... he was being a little stink! i couldn't help but feel proud of him though... he knows not to push. & is usually sooooo good with kids! i think he had a rough morning. :/ beckett was in her carseat and every time a little kid would try to touch her... he'd push them away and tell them to leave her alone! he was being so protective. i was kind of shocked. after i saw him do it i obviously went and had a talk with him and he was just fine after that!

made me realize how much he really does love his baby sister! luckily, since being home he's back to his happy self... thank goodness! i just wanted to remember the protective side to him so if you got through this... good for you! you deserve a cookie! ;)
