The last couple of days have been nice to be able to do the "just me" thing. I've been able to SLEEP IN, hang out with all my best friends, and only worry about me.
Things have been super EASY. But to be honest... It's been extremely lonely. I go to bed alone(some nights! Katie did spend the night!) and I wake up alone. I would much rather wake up at 7 to a sweet husband being there ready to give me a kiss good morning and a sweet little boy all excited to give me a big huge hug! I would much rather have a busy/hard day full of love and family. Then ever be ALONE this long again!
I've had a bunch of my friends say, "Isn't it nice to not have to pull Boston out of his carseat, and haul him into the store, and then stick him back into his carseat?" It has been nice. Nice to not have to drag him around. With him getting angry about having to go into Porter's a thousand times during the week. Or without having to pull some sort of snack out of my purse. But I can say with completely confidence... I would rather go through ALL of that EVERY single day then to not have that sweet spirit with me at all times.
I told my stepmom the other day that it's been so nice to ALWAYS have a clean house! She said, "Oh yeah, you haven't had to clean up after Boston!" I said back, "Uhh... Boston doesn't really make messes! It's Bobby that I have to clean up after!" ha... But I would also rather pick up his dirty socks, his random pants on the ground, and his kitchen messes then ever live without him! We don't have a perfect relationship but we have a relationship that is perfect for us and our personalities... There is no way that I could live my life without him. The past 3 1/2 years of us being in each others lives has been so great. Since he's been gone I have to sleep on his side of the bed, because I don't like it being empty! I have always known that I loved this man... But I hate that I have to be away from him for this long to realize the magnitude of that love!
Life is SOOOO boring without my 2 men! :)
I wanted to apologize for the lack of blogging recently... We have lots going on in the next couple of weeks so be prepared for LOTS of blogging action! You're going to love all of the fun things that we have going on... STARTING with my birthday this Saturday!! Yayyy for 22... Right?
